Our Cloud PBX is our online management console for your phoneline. Think of it as a Business PBX but in the Cloud. You get all the Features, and management of your phone line, whilst we manage the PBX Hardware and infrastructure.

SIP Trunking

SIP Trunking

Customers have two options when connecting their IP capable PBX to TS Communications - SIP Peering and Registered Trunks. Both services are available on ALL TS Communications Phone accounts and can be configured in the Cloud PBX. Customers simply make the choice that best suits their PBX and business requirements.

What are the differences in the two options?

  • SIP Peering - With SIP Peering your device does not have to be registered - instead we route all calls to the IP address you specify in the Cloud PBX when enabling the service. To connect via SIP Peering you will need a static IP address and ensure that there are no firewall rules or NAT blocking traffic between TS Communications’s servers and your IP-PBX.

  • Registered Trunks - If you do not have a static IP address or your IP-PBX is behind NAT then you should not use SIP Peering. Instead you will need to register your device with TS Communications and use our ‘Inbound' and 'Outbound' trunking features to configure your SIP Trunk.
